This highly anticipated cornerstone event is held early each year. Typically, the Teacher Librarian Day conference hosts 200 educators (100 librarian + teacher teams) at the Metropolitan State College of Denver on the Auraria Campus.
Teacher Librarian Day centers around a set of topics and an integrated theme, so every year is different and exciting. So much so, that we see teams return to learn new things, ratchet up their skills and discover new primary sources they can use in their classrooms.
To make the event easier to attend, Teaching with Primary Sources-Colorado pays for up to 100 attendees teams’ substitutes.

TLD 2013: Common Ground will consist of a suite of short, carefully prepared talks, demonstrations, and performances on a varying range of subjects to foster learning, inspiration, and wonder - and to provoke conversations that matter. Be ready for some surprising talks prompting you to find common ground among seemingly unrelated ideas, which just so happens to be the very power of primary sources! Focus will also be given to demonstrating the seamless integration of the new Common Core State Standards with primary sources and technology.
