Be part of a growing network of Metro State students who are learning and teaching in Denver’s Urban Teacher Apprentice Schools.
Teaching in urban schools is a challenging and uniquely rewarding experience. With the right commitment, preparation and support, you can make a real difference in the lives of our city’s children and young people.
The Urban Teacher Partnership (UTP) program, a partnership of Metro State, Denver Public Schools (DPS), and the Mayor's Office for Education and Children, is designed to expand the pipeline of high-quality middle and high school teachers in four content areas: math, science, English and social studies.
