MSU Denver students, faculty, staff, and alumni have a long history of engagement with the local community, working together to identify and address needs of the Denver metropolitan area. The Center for Urban Connections serves to organize, focus, and strengthen community partnerships while fostering social responsibility and contributing to the common good.

Compact Service Corps (formerly known as UCAN Serve)-Volunteer, earn scholarship money, pay for school.
Community Partnerships-Promotes collaborative relationships between MSU Denver and its surrounding community
