Site Manager now live, Phase I closes
The WCMS project team is pleased to announce the launch of Site Manager. Migrated sites include those planned for Phase I. The launch of Site Manager brings Phase I of this three phase project to a close.

Visual design refresh in the works
Planning has begun on a visual design refresh of the Metro State website. Estimated launch is late summer, to early fall 2011.

Kick-off Meeting, Phase I migration to begin
Key project team members attended a project kick-off meeting with TERMINALFOUR Professional Services staff to outline the structure and next steps of the project. T4 explained the process for implementing Site Manager and migrating websites. Phase I migration to begin week of May 23.

Site Manager application installed and running
T4 has completed installation of the Site Manager application. IT and the project team are testing functionality.

Application server requirements met, software installation up next
T4 has reviewed and is satisfied that all application server requirements have been met. Many thanks to the hardware team for putting this system together so effectively. Installation of the Site Manager software by T4 is scheduled for the week of May 2.

College secures Web Content Management System vendor, prepares for implementation

The Office of College Communications is pleased to announce as of March 15, 2011 that TERMINALFOUR (T4) has been selected as the College WCMS provider.
Headquarters for T4 are in Dublin, Ireland, with a North American sales and support office in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In addition to commercial and public sector clients, T4 has 75 'campus-wide' university solutions in place. These include University of Illinois Chicago, University of Massachusetts, Empire State College SUNY.
After review and scoring by the project evaluation committee, T4 ranked best of 14 service providers in both preferred features and cost categories. Client references rated T4 highly in all areas including ease of use, flexibility, integration options, administration and end user support.
Next steps:
Work on next steps with the T4 team has begun.
The Project Working Group Implementation and Policy sub-committees are drafting an implementation plan and policies for the new system. Information technology is working with the T4 team to create the technical infrastructure to support the new system. Once the hardware and software are in place, testing and migration of Phase I sites begins.
