IWSS Scholarships
The Institute for Women's Studies and Services offers three scholarship opportunities for MSU Denver students. Applicants do not have to be Women's Studies majors or minors. Recipients will be announced at the annual Outstanding Women's Awards Banquet on April 25, 2013. Please follow the links below to begin your online application. If you prefer to fill out a hard copy form, please come by the Institute at 1059 9th Street Park to pick up an application.
The deadline for all scholarship applications is Friday, April 5th at 5:00pm.
Meredith Wetzel Memorial Scholarship The Meredith Wetzel Memorial Scholarship is for continuing and transfer students attending Metropolitan State University of Denver during academic year 2013-2014.
Pamela McIntyre Marcum Memorial Scholarship The Pamela McIntyre-Marcum Memorial Scholarship is for women who have confronted issues of violence in their lives. The scholarships will be awarded in the academic year of 2013-2014. The amount of the scholarship varies.
The Activist Scholarship The Activist Scholarship is designed to support students who are actively engaged in efforts to support positive social change in one or more of the following areas: environmental sustainability, human rights, peace, women's rights, GLBT rights, economic justice, or social justice. The scholarship will be awarded in the acdemic year of 2013-2014.
