Ethiopia Reads Program

Ethiopia Reads was founded in 1998 “To create a reading culture in Ethiopia by connecting children with books. By planting libraries for children, creating culturally appropriate reading materials and training educators to nurture a love of books, Ethiopia Reads brings hope and educational skills to this generation of Ethiopians.” Metro State community hopes to support this project by collecting books and raising funds. Metro State student, Nicole Oudenhoven, is the contact person for additional information. She can be contacted at nikidan123@aol.com. More information about the organization can be found at www.ethiopiareads.org.
