Welcome to your independent study course. During the semester you will need to check this page frequently to track your progress, receive messages and obtain feedback on your work. Since this is independent study, you will be designing this course as well as conducting the course at your own pace.
To get started, create a personal biography to help me understand some of your goals and also to collect some contact information. Include the following information:
- What is your name?
- What is your major?
- What is your career objective?
- What year are you at Metro?
- How many credits of course work are you taking this semester?
- How many hours a week do you work at paid employment?
- Where do you work?
- What is your e-mail address?
- Please send a picture if you have one.
- Have you taken an Internet course before?
- Have you taken an independent study course before?
- Do you have a personal website? If so what is the address?
- Include any personal information you would like to post, such as, hometown, tastes in film and music, hobbies, and pets.
- Please do not post any intimate details, especially home address, home phone or student ID number.
E-mail your biography to the instructor.
