Encourage reflection

Online learning gives students space to formulate their own opinions. They are not required to raise their hand and be called on before the class period is over. With online courses, everyone has time to respond. Also, you gain the benefit of using interaction between students to increase learning. Students should be encouraged to contribute their own life experiences.
