Try not to confirm or criticize each comment. This sets up expectations that feedback will follow every posting. Participants will skip over your comments because they are so frequent. They are meaningless. Identify and highlight important content points and discussion comments. Avoid publicly praising participants. This shuts down communication. Practice this Critical skill- identifying comments or phrases, already posted to the discussion, that can be used as bridges to the next level of understanding and to keep the conversation going.
