This role will include:
- Sending
a first message to start the thread.
- Hosting
weekly discussion threads based on
course content, students act as moderators.
- Lots
of e-mail to manage.
- You will
be online a lot.
Develop a manageable feedback loop, outside of the discussion postings.
This will be important for giving grades, so people don't feel isolated or question grades later.
Student e-mails should contain concerns, questions, or thoughts.
Facilitator e-mails should include private concerns, progress, comments and grades.
It is suggested that you start separate discussion threads for process or homework questions.
