Surrender some control

  • Students should progress at their own speed and control the pace of the course. Use a two-week window (the length of the window may need to adjusted depending on the length of the course) to make sure everyone is somewhat together.
  • Use your students for support with the technology and to supply some of the content.
  • Ramping Up - start with tech simple assignments and move to more complicated ones. Online projects will require more time than regular classroom projects.
