HOW TO FILL OUT CAPP REQUEST FORM (CORRECTLY!)
See the list below for the explanation of all codes.
Some Majors may require additional work in other field(s), before you can earn a degree in that Major. The codes specified in capitals following the title of a Major (e.g. history M), alert you to such a requirement (in this case Major in history, also requires a Minor).
Requirements for some Majors have changed over the years and there may be more than one specification available for your Major. The requirements you are responsible for are determined by the MSCD College Catalog of the year when you have come to Metro. You cannot pick this year arbitrarily--IT'S THE YEAR WHEN YOU BEGAN AT/TRANSFERRED TO METRO. Please make sure you select appropriate Major title that corresponds to your Catalog Year.
For example, if you are a Criminal Justice and Criminology student, you will see these choices:
Major
Concentration
Let's say that you have begun at Metro in 1998. According to that catalog you need to take a Minor (M) and one of five possible concentrations-areas of emphasis (C). Therefore, assuming that you are interested in public safety and chemistry your selection will be:
Major
Concentration

Minor
See your Department if you are not sure what concentrations/minors, if any, are required/possible in your case.
