CAMPUS NEWS:

NEW ALUMNI HOUSE LOCATION

On October 3rd, the President’s Cabinet approved the recommendation of the Space Planning, Allocation and Resource Committee (SPARC) to establish a Metro State Alumni House at 1059 Ninth Street Park. The move will take place during the December 2006 holiday break.

“We look forward to creating a warm and welcoming space for alumni to reconnect to other alumni and faculty and to network with our students,” said Executive Director of the Alumni Association, Cherrelyn Napue. “Since being on Ninth Street the past year we have experienced constant walk-in traffic. It has been wonderful, but a challenge to host alumni and students within the limited space of our current location on the second floor of 1020 Ninth Street.”

An “Open House” celebration will be held at the new location during February 4-11, 2007, which is Metro State’s Homecoming Week. Look for your invitation in the mail later this year!
