Career Opportunities with a Major in Mathematics
Many jobs require a college educated individual. College graduates can use their education in a wide variety of occupations.
A major in mathematics can concentrate their studies in any of five areas: applied mathematics, computer science, mathematics education, probability and statistics or theoretical mathematics. These concentrations can be useful in a variety of professional fields or can be a background for graduate school.
