Criminalistics Minor

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of the Criminalistics minor, students will be able to:

1. Examine the role that Forensic Science plays in the Criminal Justice system
2. Assess the theory and ethical considerations needed to function as a Crime Scene Investigator
3. Demonstrate the practical skills needed to document a crime scene, and
4. Demonstrate the knowledge needed to properly recognize, collect and preserve most types of Physical Evidence.
