Feb 26, 2008
The Apprentice Challenge team, 5280 Closers, is holding a food and personal-care items drive for the Disability Center for Independent Living (DCIL).
DCIL's mission is to fully integrate people with all types of disabilities into all aspects of community life. The center provides programs, services and support to allow people with disabilities to make choices for their lives and to enable them to be self sustaining.
The drive runs through Thursday, Feb. 28. Please bring your canned/nonperishable food and/or personal care item to the following drop-off locations: the southeast and southwest entrances to the Tivoli Student Union and the Metro State Alumni Association Office, 1059 Ninth Street.
The drive is part of the Apprentice Challenge second project, The UMB Homeless Challenge with Denver’s Road Home. For more information about the Challenge go to www.mscd.edu/apprenticechallenge .
