| Athletics to make TV debut, hold 'radioathon' |

Three big events are coming up for Metro’s Intercollegiate Athletics department in the week following Thanksgiving. First, the Roadrunners will make their debut on the new Altitude TV channel on Nov. 27. The women’s basketball game against Minnesota State - Moorhead will air at 2 p.m.; the 4 p.m. men’s game, which is part of the Metro State - Regis Rocky Mountain Classic, pits the Roadrunners against California State-Monterey Bay. Then, on Nov. 29, the Irv and Joe Show on AM 950 The FAN will hold a live remote “radioathon” to benefit Metro’s Athletics. The 2 to 6 p.m. broadcast at Old Chicago restaurant downtown will feature an online auction, interviews with coaches and on-site giveaways. For more information go to http://www.gometrostate.com. Finally, on Dec. 5. the 7 p.m. men’s basketball game against Johnson Wales will be televised on Altitude. Check your local listing for the Altitude channel. |
