An estimated 1,000 visitors attended the Metro State Open House June 25 and more than 100 admission applications were submitted. Attendance surpassed that of last year.

“This summer’s event was another huge success thanks to the detailed planning and preparation by Paul Cesare and the rest of the Admissions and AHEC staff,” says Admissions Director Bill Hathaway-Clark. “Special thanks go to the faculty and staff who donated their Saturday to show the personal side of Metro that makes it unique in the state—the individual attention and breadth of information sets us apart.”

Prospective students and their guests came to the Auraria Events Center to learn about Metro State’s academic programs, student services and resources; nearly 250 people toured the campus.

The next Metro State Open House is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 5.
