It is important that all Metro State employees shut down their computers before leaving for the upcoming July 4 holiday weekend, as Information Technology staff will be performing system maintenance and implementing security upgrades to the network.

Most of the work will take place over the weekend, but some systems will be affected as early as Thursday, June 30. The following is a list of the affected systems and their scheduled outages.

• Thursday, June 30, 5 p.m. through Friday, July 1, 7 a.m.
  Banner System, including MetroConnect registration and Banner Web.
  
• Saturday, July 2, 5 p.m. through Monday, July 4, 6 a.m.
  Banner and MetroConnect, including MetroConnect e-mail, calendar and online registration and payment services.
  
• Saturday, July 2 throughout the day
  Because some of the work involves the college network, all Metro State computer systems will be subject to intermittent interruptions.
