This Thursday, Metro State will formalize its agreement with the
Colorado Community College System to allow community college students
to complete two years of general studies for an associate’s degree and
then earn a bachelor’s degree in select Metro State programs without
leaving their respective two-year college campus.
The Memorandum of Understanding signing ceremony begins at 11 a.m.
in the College Hill Library on the Front Range Community
College-Westminster campus (FRCC). Light refreshments will be served.
The first 2+2 Plan allows students at FRCC to earn a Metro State
degree in marketing, management, or criminal justice and criminology
without leaving FRCC’s Westminster campus.
Starting with the 2008 fall semester, Metro State will offer
upper-division courses in psychology and biology to Community College
of Aurora (CCA) students who have earned their associate’s degree.
Watch for a follow-up story in next week’s @Metro that further discusses the 2+2 Plan.
To RSVP for the ceremony, please contact Laura DuClos at 303-404-5422 or laura.duclos@frontrange.edu by April 2.
