College in Colorado is hosting the 7th annual College Friday this week to help raise awareness about the importance of higher education. Participating Qdoba restaurants will be doling out free chips and queso to anyone sporting college gear and select Cold Stone Creamery locations will give you a scoop for demonstrating your school spirit.
But the day isn’t just about free swag. There is a full list of activities and ways to engage students and show them the importance of college. There are also scholarship opportunities for students and schools that prepare pupils for higher education.
