MSU Denver is one of the organizations with the potential to benefit from the third annual Colorado Gives Day, a movement to increase philanthropy statewide through online giving.
The promotion, which runs for 24 hours on Tuesday, Dec. 4, beginning at 12:01 a.m., allows you to donate to more than 1,000 Colorado nonprofits.
According to Chrysti R. Britt, associate director of development, MSU Denver is promoting donations to scholarships, the Hospitality Learning Center, the Center for Visual Art, diversity initiatives, including the Noel and Castro professorships, and general gifts.
Colorado Gives Day is run by the Community First Foundation and FirstBank. One-hundred percent of monies raised go to the charities targeted. Last year, Colorado Gives Day donors gave $12.4 million to the state’s nonprofits.
