President Stephen Jordan has received an honorable mention in the education category of the Denver Post’s “Colorado’s top thinkers of 2012.” He was chosen for his leadership in establishing the Colorado High School/GED Nonresident Tuition Rate for undocumented students.
The awards were based on input from Post readers and staff, who were asked to help the newspaper compile a list of great thinkers in Colorado “whose accomplishments or ideas made them stand out as we looked back at (2012’s) events.”
There were 15 categories, ranging from health to politics to technology. The article was published in the Sunday, Jan. 13, edition.
