WC and CN after-hours entry changing Oct. 1
Sep 19, 2007

Beginning Oct. 1, after-hours entry to the Central and West Classroom Buildings will be through encoded ID cards and access readers.

The readers are being installed to increase safety for faculty, staff and students working in the buildings after regular business hours.

All campus faculty and staff that need access to the exterior entrances of these buildings after regular business hours must have written approval from their department chair or director and their institutional representative in order to have their campus ID encoded. Metro State’s representative is Beth Christensen, 303-556-4646.

After Oct. 1, Auraria Campus Police will no longer admit unauthorized faculty and staff into the buildings and entry will only be available using the encoded ID cards.

For specific building hours, please visit http://www.ahec.edu/campus/building_hours.htm.

For more information, please contact your department chair or call Nick Nichols in Facilities Management at 303-556-2706.
