Interested in learning how you can advocate for Metro State with your legislator during the 2012 session?

Metro State Advocacy Day, a four-hour training session, will be held Tuesday, Feb. 21, 1-5 p.m. in the State Capitol, room 356. The session will cover legislative issues pertinent to Metro State, insight into the legislative process, basic advocacy skills and social media communication techniques. Please RSVP by Friday, Feb. 17 at www.mscd.edu/alumni/events.

Faculty and staff may attend the training using four hours of administrative leave with their supervisor’s approval. Please submit a leave authorization form available on the Human Resources website and forward it to HR. Employees will also be required to sign in and sign out at the event.
