The Auraria AIDS Walk Team will participate in the third annual AIDS Walk Colorado 2008 on Saturday, Sept. 6, at Denver’s Cheesman Park. Metro State faculty and staff are encouraged to join the team to help support children and adults living with HIV and AIDS.

Last year, the Auraria team raised more than $10,000 for organizations that provide AIDS prevention, outreach and educational programs. Don’t want to run or walk? The Colorado AIDS Project (CAP) is looking for volunteers who can help with setting and cleaning up the event.

The Auraria team committee will give away T-shirts to team members who raise $25 or more in pledges.
