Applications to the second ”Apprentice Challenge @ Metro State” are due at noon on Friday, September 19, 2008 in the Office of Alumni Relations, 1059 Ninth Street Park.
The Apprentice Challenge is a semester-long program that teams Metro State students on community projects with local nonprofits and businesses. The winner, chosen at the Board Room finale at the end of the semester, earns a paid internship and a full scholarship for his or her senior year.
The Challenge is open to:
• Metro State students of all majors and schools
• Students who currently have 60-89 credit hours (junior status), and
• Students who currently have a minimum GPA of 2.75.
Eligible students will need to download the 2008-2009 application and follow the instructions carefully to ensure their application will be considered. Handwritten applications will not be accepted.
