All new faculty must complete HR forms by Aug. 8
Aug 6, 2008

New faculty members must submit their completed benefit enrollment paperwork and Faculty Pay Distribution Option form with Human Resources in AD 510, by Friday, Aug. 8.

Even those faculty members who do not yet have their contract should file this paperwork by the deadline. If it is not filed, their benefits will default to single indemnity health and dental, even if they have coverage under another employer, and the pay option for this contract year will default to the 10-month option (first pay Sept. 30, 2008 and ending pay July 1, 2009).

Benefits are effective on the beginning contract date in August and are pre-paid one month in advance. Therefore, three premium deductions will occur in the September paycheck for August, September and October.

If you have questions, please contact Kirsten Moore, benefits manager, at 303-556-5029 or kmoore65@mscd.edu immediately.
