Master’s programs top BOT agenda
Nov 4, 2009

Among the action items slated for the Nov. 4 Board of Trustees meeting is the approval of all three master’s degree proposals, as recommended by the BOT’s Academic and Student Affairs Subcommittee on Thursday, Oct. 22.

Other items on the agenda include approval of a letter from the BOT to the State Board of Nursing, stating its support of the Nursing Department’s developing a four-year traditional bachelor of science in nursing program. Also on the agenda is the Hospitality, Tourism and Events Department’s proposal to offer five new certificate programs in management for hotel, restaurant, events, tourism and beverage.

For the full agenda, visit the BOT’s site.

Congratulations
Board of Trustees Chair Adele Phelan is being recognized on Nov. 4 at the Colorado Bright Beginnings luncheon at The Ritz-Carlton for her commitment to education.
