The Board of Trustees, Metro State’s governing body, will meet Thursday, Feb. 2.
The public portion of the meeting starts at 9 a.m. in Tivoli 320. The board will meet for an hour-long executive session starting at 8 a.m.
The board will hear an update on the Strategic Name Initiative as well as a presentation by Vice President of Finance Natalie Lutes on the Rightsizing with Technology project.
Action items on the agenda include a bill concerning creating an optional category of tuition at state institutions of higher education (SB 12-015) and the postsecondary and workforce readiness high school-endorsed diploma.
The board’s committees meet Wednesday afternoon starting at 1 p.m. in Tivoli 329.
