The committee for the 2010 Rachel B. Noel Distinguished Visiting Professorship has selected Africare president Julius E. Coles as the visiting professor for a series of events to be held Feb. 20-24, 2010.

Greek organization celebrates longevity on Auraria Campus

On Thursday, Oct. 22, the Eta Chapter of the Lambda Theta Nu Sorority, Inc. celebrated 15 years on the Auraria Campus, serving both Metro State and UC Denver. It is the oldest Greek organization on campus.

H1N1 vaccines still available

Metropolitan State College of Denver is closed today, Thursday, Oct. 29, due to inclement weather. This closure includes Metro South, Metro North and Metro State courses taught at Front Range and Aurora Community Colleges, as well as the other institutions on the Auraria Campus.

Higher Education Funding Update: Ritter announces additional $145 million cut

Gov. Bill Ritter today presented the legislature’s Joint Budget Committeewith an updatedplan that closes a $271.4 million, recession-induced shortfall in the state’s current Fiscal Year 2009-10 budget.

Metropolitan State College of Denver will close at 1 p.m. today, Wednesday, Oct. 28, due to inclement weather. This closure includes Metro South, Metro North and Metro State courses taught at Front Range and Aurora Community Colleges, as well as the other institutions on the Auraria Campus.
