The Department of Accounting has been notified by the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) that accounting major Cindalena Milhoan will receive one of two $1,000 scholarships for the 2008 fall semester.

Metro State of Mind features Hadidja Nyiransekuye, an adjunct professor who came to America with her four children after the Rwandan genocide. Ten years later she holds a Ph.D. from the University of Denver, teaches social work and African and African studies, and helps others from her country find their way.
