Banner upgrade and Microsoft Exchange in the works for 2010

The Division of Information Technology has two substantial projects planned for early 2010: the upgrade to Banner 8 and the migration to Microsoft Exchange as the e-mail/calendaring system for faculty and staff.

The Sept. 2 article "Information Technology revises policies" should have stated that the approval date by the President’s Cabinet was Aug. 31 and that the policy manual will be effective pending a 30-day final review by faculty and staff.

Banner, Banner Self-Service and BDMA Xtender Imaging will be unavailable from 5:30 p.m. until midnight on Tuesday, June 30, while the Administration and Finance Division closes out the fiscal year.
