As 2009 begins, we continue to educate the community on and off the campus, and our faculty and staff are continually sought for expert interviews. The following programs, events or achievements have been highlighted in the news media: master’s program proposals, NCAA Women’s Soccer Final Four, Veterans Day, Frosty’s Feast, and a history-making graduation.These stories showcase Metro State’s many successes and help further the College as the preeminent public urban baccalaureate college in the nation.

Metro State continues to educate the community on and off the campus, as evidenced by the broad range of media coverage over the last several weeks. Our expert faculty and staff continue to provide in-depth commentary on the U.S. presidential election, the financial crisis, and amendments on the Colorado ballot. The College was also highlighted for its increased enrollment among students of color and for the “Christo and Jeanne-Claude: Prints and Objects” exhibition at the Center for Visual Art.

It’s 4th of July week and a true countdown to the Democratic National Convention. During these exciting times, Metro State continues to be a leader in educating the community on and off the campus, as evidenced by the array of media coverage this past month.
