Don’t forget! Sneak preview for Metro State employees
Aug 21, 2008

Faculty and staff are invited to a sneak preview of the “Christo and Jeanne-Claude: Prints and Objects” exhibition on Thursday, Aug. 21, 4-6 p.m., at the College’s Center for Visual Art, 1734 Wazee St.

This is an exclusive opportunity for Metro State employees only to view this exhibition of works by the world-renowned artists, which has not been seen in the United States since 1992. The collection features 130 original works, including 30 new pieces.

Set. 18 public lecture tickets gone
The 2,800 tickets for Christo and Jeanne-Claude’s free lecture on Sept. 18 at the Temple Hoyne Buell Theatre have been distributed. However, a waiting list is being compiled for a possible overflow room. Put your name on the waiting list at mscd-ia@mscd.edu.

For more information about the exhibition, which opens to the public on Aug. 29 and runs through Nov. 1, go to http://www.metrostatecva.org/.
