Auraria Library plans pilot project on video-on-demand service
Jul 23, 2008

Reserves/Audio-Video Media Services at the Auraria Library will hold a pilot project this fall on the video-on-demand service C-Labs by Cdigix.

C-Labs is a digital media service for college/university administrators, faculty and students that provides the tools needed to post and maintain rich digital media online while complying with copyright policies. Media management, digital rights management, encryption, licensing, distribution and authentication are completely automated by the C-Labs service.

The library will hold the pilot Sept. 2- Nov. 2, prior to deciding whether or not to purchase C-Labs.

The project will include 25 video/DVD titles. To view the titles and learn more about the pilot project, go to http://library.auraria.edu/services/reserves/clabstrial.html.

If you would like to participate and try this service in your classroom and/or with your students during the fall semester please contact Judith Valdez, head of Reserves/Media/Video, at 303-556-4999 or judith.valdez@ucdenver.edu.
