The change of all faculty, staff and student email addresses
to username@msudenver.edu and the
MetroConnect transition have been moved to Monday, Aug. 6. Both were originally
planned for Aug. 1.
The decision was made to hold off on the updates to
MetroConnect–soon to be renamed ConnectU–and the change to username@msudenver.edu from username@mscd.edu so that the transition will occur after
the end of summer semester, which is Saturday, Aug. 4.
“The Name Change Transition Team’s Domain Subcommittee recommended
that the date be moved to ensure a smooth process, particularly for summer faculty
and students,” says Cathy Lucas, associate to the president for marketing and
communications and Name Change Transition Team chair.
