This coming week offers a variety of events including Halloween activities, a photo contest and a series of concerts.
On Friday, Oct. 30, the Crypto Science Society will offer a Tivoli Haunted House Tour. To participate in the tour, meet at Ninth Street Park in front of Einstein Bagels at 6 p.m.
An Auraria Campus 48-Hour Shootout photo competition is available for students interested in photojournalism. From Oct. 30 at 4 p.m. to Nov. 1 at 4 p.m., The Denver Post is challenging students to take their best shot. For more information, visit shooters. The entry fee is $10.
On Monday, Nov. 2, the Music Department will present a series of events.
The Visiting Artist Series: Central City Opera will be featured at the King Center Recital Hall, room 130 at 1 p.m. The departmenthas two events at 7:30 p.m., including: Romancing the Keys at the King Center Recital Hall, room 130 and the African Drumming Ensemble at the King Center Concert Hall, room 145. Reminder: Metro State is hosting its Second Annual Sport Sales Workshop and Job Fair on Friday, Nov. 13. Attendees will benefit from training with sales executives from the following professional sport teams: The Phoenix Suns, Colorado Avalanche, Denver Broncos, Portland Trailblazers and Denver Nuggets, to name a few.
