It’s fall: The leaves are changing, the temperature is dropping and it’s time to get your flu shot.
The Health Center at Auraria is offering inoculations on Thursday, Sept. 20, noon- 4 p.m. at the Plaza Building in front of the Health Center and on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Roger Braun Lounge in the Tivoli.
Shots are free for students with a current ID and $20 for faculty and staff. No insurance can be accepted, but receipts are provided upon request.
Vaccines will be available on a first-come-first-served basis while supplies last.
Public health authorities recommend all people six-months and older receive a seasonal flu vaccination, especially individuals at higher risk including health-care workers and those who have close contact with infants younger than six-months.
