The Center for Faculty Development has announced that it will sponsor two half-day forums during the 2009-10 academic year.
The two events will replace the full-day Faculty Development Conference held in the spring, according to CFD Director Mark Potter. The change to two shorter sessions comes from feedback Potter received after the February conference. He also said that the change in name to Fall Forum is to “signal our desire to be inclusive of both faculty and staff.”
The Fall Forum will be held Aug. 11 and the Spring Forum is planned for January.
