There are a lot of questions being asked as Metropolitan State University of Denver goes through the name-change transition, and, no doubt, there will be more.

Some faculty and staff are wondering whether they can choose to not have their mscd.edu address change to msudenver.edu and whether their email folders will be “migrated” in Outlook Exchange when the change occurs.
On Aug. 1, all faculty and staff email addresses will change to msudenver.edu. Also, the transition for faculty and staff Exchange accounts does not require that any data, files or folders be copied or moved, since only the address is changing.
For student Google email accounts, all folders, with the exception of the “trash” folder, will be moved.
All emails sent to an mscd.edu address will be forwarded automatically to your msudenver.edu account until June 30, 2013.
Another common question involves the request for a logo for a department, program or organization. The new identity standards allow for affiliate logos only under certain strict conditions. If you have a question, please contact Marketing and Communications.
