Noted professor and author lectures on herbal medicines

Linda B. White, a physician and assistant professor of health professions at Metro State, will present a lecture entitled, “The Top Five Herbs Your Patients are Using” this evening (Wednesday, Sept. 3) from 5:30-6:30.

White, author of several books on herbal medicines including The Herbal Drugstore, will present as part of the Florence G. Strauss lecture series sponsored by the Health Sciences Library.

White’s presentation will be held on the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora in the Health Sciences Library’s Reading Room located on the third floor. Attendees can park in the Georgetown, Ignacio or Julesburg lots. Each lot has automated pay stations that accept cash, coin and credit cards. The rates are $1 all evening after 5 p.m. 

Also, the lecture is available via live video conferencing in Room 008 (basement) of the Auraria Media Center. Attendees should enter the Auraria Library from the east side. For a map, visit http://www.ahec.edu/campusmaps/AHEC3D.pdf.

White’s lecture is also presented through the support of the Auraria Library and the Foundations of Cultural Dimensions.
