Nominations being accepted for entrepreneur awards
Feb 3, 2010

The Center for Innovation has announced two contests for Metro State students and alumni.

Submissions for the Innovation Challenge Business Plan and Idea Competition are being accepted through March 1. The Challenge is open to Metro State students, alumni and metro-area high school students. Winners will receive up to a $1,500 scholarship or $500 for a great idea or business plan.

The Entrepreneur of the Year Award, presented by the Community Financial Services Association of America, has been created to showcase emerging and established entrepreneurs from the College. The award recognizes entrepreneurs who have successfully started and maintained businesses that have positively impacted the community through job creation, innovation, philanthropy and/or eco-friendliness. The submission/nomination deadline is April 2.

Winners will be announced during the awards ceremony to be held on April 15 from 6-8:30 p.m. in Tivoli Turnhalle. For more information on both awards, visit http://www.metrostateinnovate.org/.
