Metro State faculty members continue to gain recognition for their scholarly writings.

Visiting Management Professor Bill Carnes and Professor of Management Madison Holloway have had their paper, "The Impact on Longitudinal Research by Generational Differences" accepted for presentation at the 2009 International Conference of the Academy of Business Administration on Aug. 5-9 in Paris, France. The paper will also be published in the academy’s Readings Book.

Assistant Professor of Management Lisa McVicker has had a paper titled "Unethical and finally illegal? Water issues in energy production: Coalbed methane production in the western U.S. and oil production in Ecuador" accepted for presentation at the annual conference of the Academy of Legal Studies in Business in Denver this August. A paper co-authored by McVicker with her management colleagues, Professor Ron Taylor and Assistant Professor Whitney Traylor, has also been accepted to the conference. Their paper is titled, "Tenure in the 21st Century: A Right Not To Be Taken For Granted."
