Tools of the Mind (TOM) is included in the book "Mind in the Making,” by Ellen Galinsky.TOM, the early elementary education program developed at Metro State in 1993 by Deborah Leong, now emeritus professor of psychology, and Elena Bodrova, at the time a visiting professor, incorporates cognitive and social-emotional regulation in preschoolers as key factors of academic readiness.
