Spend your fall break on Moab adventure
Nov 4, 2009

The Outdoor Adventure Center is offering a four-day canyoneering trip to Moab, Utah, over fall break.

One of the center’s premier outings of the year, the trip consists of four days in sunny Moab, Utah, canyoneering and hiking in the best canyons Arches National Park has to offer. It is being offered to all members of the Auraria community and their guests.

The dates of the trip are Friday, Nov. 20 – Wednesday, Nov. 25. The cost is $149 for students, faculty, and staff of the Auraria Campus. Guests of students or college personnel pay an additional $5 per day. The price includes transportation, gear rental, instruction and park entrance fees. It does not include lodging and food. The center will provide lodging recommendations upon request, from campgrounds to hotels. The center recommends participants sign up at least a week in advance as space is limited.

To sign up, go to the front desk in PE 108 with cash, check or credit card; or over the phone at 303-556-2310 (credit card only). For more information contact the Outdoor Adventure Center at 303-556-2391 or stop by PE 001 (downstairs from the fitness center).

The Outdoor Adventure Center is a tri-institutional, student-fee-supported outdoor education and leadership program for the students, faculty, staff and guests of Metro State and the other institutions at Auraria.
