Vocal and instrumental musicians wanted
Aug 13, 2008

Did you sing in the choir or play an instrument throughout high school? If you did, the Metro State Music Department has just the thing for you.

Any Metro State student, faculty or staff member (non-music major or music major) can participate in the Metro State Symphonic Band (woodwind, brass and percussion) or the Men’s and Women’s Choirs, without auditioning.

The Symphonic Band will focus on the technical and musical development of students within a laid back and fun atmosphere. The ensemble will meet on Tuesday and Thursday, 11:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m., and will perform two concerts throughout the semester. For more information, contact David, Kish, director of bands, 303-556-3252 or dkish@mscd.edu.

The Men’s and Women’s Choirs will be a great place to meet new friends and learn fun and exciting music. Classes also will meet on Tuesday and Thursday, 11:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m. For more information, contact MB Krueger at 303-556-3253 or kruegema@mscd.edu.

It’s never too late to register for either! The course numbers are:

Metro State Symphonic Band: MUS 281E or MUS 381E
Women's Choir: MUS 281B
Men's Choir: MUS 281C
