The two finalists for the newly created position of ombudsperson will have their campus interviews this Thursday and Friday. Both will give a presentation to the MSU Denver community that will include role-playing a conflict situation.
Lisa Neale’s site visit will take place on Thursday, Dec. 13. Her open presentation will be held from 2:15-3:15 p.m. in SSB 400. Neale has been at the University of Colorado Denver Anschutz Campus since 2003, first as ombudsperson, and most recently as associate director and ombudsperson. Previously she spent 13 years as a high school and middle school teacher in Colorado and Texas.
G. Michael Kilpatrick will be on campus Friday, Dec. 14 with his presentation also scheduled from 2:15-3:15 p.m. in SSB 400. Kilpatrick currently is the principal at Fiat Lux/Ombuds Service Group. He has served in various ombuds/mediator/facilitator capacities since 1992, including Bridgepoint Education and subsidiaries and the National Conflict Resolution Center in San Diego.
