Emeritus professor passes away

Bill Hamilton, professor emeritus of English, passed away Sunday,
July 6, after suffering a heart attack while on a fishing trip in
Montana. Hamilton, who had served as chair of the English Department,
retired from Metro State in May of 2005 after 14 years with the College.
A memorial service for Dr. Hamilton will be held Monday, July 13, 11
a.m. at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 22nd and Dexter sts. in Denver.
Condolences may be directed to the English Department, Campus Box 32,
and will be forwarded to the family.
