Emeritus professor of art passes away

Jean Schiff, a Metro State emeritus professor of art, passed away Monday, May 18, after battling lung cancer.

Schiff taught art at Metro State for 21 years before her retirement in 1992. She also taught art classes for 12 years for the Art Student League.

Schiff’s love for art began while in high school and continued until her death: She had an exhibit scheduled at Spark Gallery in Denver through June 13.
